Revolutionise access to your collection using Contextualised Search

The new multi-entity search system design means that museum data can be explored to its fullest. Cultural data is contextual and variable and needs to be represented with relationships, perspectives and context intact. The new search will allow searching against objects, people, places, events, periods and concepts also providing context for each other. Search can become and instrument of exploration allowing the user to start with a particular entity and then derive other entities from the results. People can lead on to places, and places to events and then to objects and so on. The new design provides a radical departure from traditional keyword and advanced searching but the interface can be customised to suit different audiences whether professional researchers, students or general enthusiasts. The system will become available in 2015 as a separate application.
