Based at Wolfson College, Oxford, the summer school covered a wide range of subjects providing both practical and theoretical courses. The "Humanities Web of Data: publishing, linking and querying on the semantic web" strand included presentations and workshops from
Kevin Page (OeRC), John Pybus (OeRC), Dave De Roure (OeRC), Dominic Oldman (British
Museum), Sebastian Rahtz (IT Services), Graham Klyne (Zoology).
In the British Museum section students explored the idea of the Digital Wunderkammer and were introduced to the CIDOC CRM as a way of providing a form of personal modelling (close modelling) as well as take advantage more quantitative techniqiues and large scale modelling (distance modelling).
